March – May Empties

This is what 3 months worth of empties look like! Cheating a bit by including one (large) hair product, but everything else is skincare.

Disclaimer: All products featured in this post were purchased by me, except for 3: Stratia Velvet Cleansing Milk was a gift from Stratia. The Nov L&W cream was a deluxe sample gift from Image Beauty Store. Swanicoco Fermentation Care serum was provided to me for review purposes. All opinions expressed are my own. This post contains an affiliate links. Purchasing an item through an affiliate link does not add any cost to the customer but does help support this site’s upkeep.

From L to R (more or less):

Country & Stream Honey UV Water Gel SPF 32 PA+++
I like this a lot. It smells like lemon drops but is otherwise very similar to Nivea Sun Protect Aqua Gel. Uses chemical filters and contains alcohol. Not water or sweat resistant. Already repurchased.
Available on Beautius. Get 100 B-Points from Beautius here.

Country & Stream Honey UV Water Gel SPF 50 PA++++
Talked about this a little here. Honey lemon scent. Similar to the 2015 Biore Watery Essence, IMO. Texturally, I prefer the lower SPF C&S sunscreen, but this is nice too. Uses both physical and chemical filters and does not contain alcohol. Not water or sweat resistant. Will not repurchase.
Available on Beautius. Get 100 B-Points from Beautius here.

Canmake UV Mermaid Gel SPF 50 PA++++
Full review here. I like this and have gone through many tubes, but probably won’t repurchase anytime soon because for summer, I stongly prefer my sunscreens to be water and sweat resistant.
Available on Beautius, Amazon US, Ebay, and Rakuten

Muji Cleansing Gel
Orange scented, super gentle, non-foaming, low pH, gel-based second cleanser. This is actually advertised as a makeup remover, but I don’t find it as effective at removing makeup or sunscreen as an oil cleanser. I like this and usually pick a few up from Muji to keep in my travel and gym bag.
Available at Muji and Ebay.

Ramosu Bifida Ferment Lysate 100
Bought this during one of (non-defunct) Memebox US’s clearance sale. It’s fine but doesn’t seem to work as well as Swanicoco’s Refine Ferment Bifida The First Essence, which is also a 100% Bifida product. Will not repurchase.
Available on BeautyBoxKorea and Ebay.

Nivea Sun Protect Plus UV Milky Essence SPF 50 PA++++
I talked about this a little in this post. This is probably my #2 favorite sunscreen at the moment and is considerably cheaper than my #1, which is Shiseido Anessa Perfect UV Sunscreen. Uses both chemical and physical UV filters but is white-cast free. Contains alcohol to ensure speedy dry time but is not drying at all. Also, this is water and sweat resistant to boot. Have plenty of backups in my stash and will continue to repurchase.
Available on Amazon US, Rakuten, Ebay.

Kuramoto Bijin Komeyu Rice Bran Oil
Reviewed here. My skin loves rice bran oil. Perfect amount of emollience and thickness for my dry skin. Have already repurchased.
Available on Rakuten and Amazon US.

Stratia Velvet Cleansing Milk
Cerave Hydrating Cleanser is usually the go-to cleanser recommendation for people with dry and sensitive skin. I’m telling you, this cleansing milk is better. It’s even more gentle than Cerave yet has more cleansing power. If your skin hates cleansers, give this a try. Will repurchase.
Available on Stratia. Packaging has been updated from squeeze tube to pump.

Manyo Factory Ultra Moist Spa Ampoule
Reviewed here. Other people seem to really like this but the hydrating effects of this on my skin were really short lived. I ended up using this up on my arms and legs just to finish before the expiration date. Will not repurchase.
Available on Melody Cosme, Ebay, and Koreadepart. Packaging has been updated and is now a bright, turquoise color.

Mizon Hyaluronic Acid 100 Ampoule
Reviewed here. Hydrating and skin plumping. Will repurchase.
Available on RoseRoseShop and Amazon.

Misao Xiva Fermentation Cleansing Serum
This is a cleansing water that is full of skin beneficial fermented ingredients. It removes makeup competently but irritates my eyes. On the other hand, it does seem to have hydrating and mild brightening effects. I use this mostly as an all-in-one cleansing & hydrating step for my neck and to remove water-resistant sunscreens from my body. I have a few backups at the moment but will probably not repurchase once I use them up.
Available on Ebay and Ippin.

NOV L&W Enrich Cream
I actually had an entire trial kit of the Nov L&W line but can’t find the empty packages for the toner, essence, or other items. This line is formulated for sensitive skin and is supposedly focused on brightening and anti-aging. I didn’t think the creams or toner were anything special, but I really liked and have already purchased a full size of the essence.
Trial Set available on Amazon. Full size cream available on Amazon, Kirei Station, and in person at Image Beauty Store.

Sulwhasoo Essential Balancing Emulsion EX
This was part of a Sulwhasoo trial kit. I like the water and love the serum from this line, but didn’t care for the emulsion. Will not repurchase, which is probably a very good thing for my wallet.
Trail kit available on Amazon, Beautius, or Yesstyle. Full size available Sulwhasoo, Amazon, and Yesstyle Get 100 B-Points from Beautius here.

Swanicoco Fermentation Care Serum
Full review here. Love this. It’s one of the most effective brightening and hyperpigmentation-fading products I’ve found for my skin. Already repurchased.
Available on Koreadepart and Yesstyle.

Stratia Fortify
Reviewed here. This is a very nourishing oil and despite the smell, I actually miss having it in my arsenal. Maybe repurchase, but not until things cool down.
Available on Stratia.

Cremorlab T.E.N. Cremor Cleansing Gel Oil
I really liked this oil when I first got it, but halfway through the bottle I couldn’t wait to finish and be done with it. It’s a first cleanser with a gel texture. I don’t find it to remove makeup or sunscreen as effectively as a true oil cleanser, and when trying to remove eye makeup this irritates my eyes. I do like the rose scent and appreciate how cleanly it rinses off, but ehhh with first cleansers function is ultimately my biggest priority. Will not repurchase.
Available on Peach & Lily and Ebay. Get $10 off your first Peach and Lily order of $40 or more here.

Ryo Jayangyunmo Anti-Hair Loss Conditioner
Purchased this from Memebox with points. Out of the bottle it’s creamy and purple. I like the herbal ginseng scent and the fact that it leaves absolutely no residue or buildup in my hair (as some conditioners do) but my hair is in a state (dry, coarse, brittle etc) where it actually needs a conditioner, this doesn’t really deliver. Will not repurchase.
Availability – This conditioner seems to have been discontinued.
