Here is my assortment of empties this month from left to right:
Femmue Global Youth Spring Lotion
Full review here. Purchased as part of Beautibi’s Spring Box. Has a beautiful rosy scent but takes a little long to dry down and the airless pump dispenses far too much product. I ended up using this up as a body lotion. Will not repurchase.
Astalift Cleansing Oil
Drunk Elephant C Firma Serum
Purchased from r/AsianBeautyExchange. I’m torn about this one. It’s one of the worst smelling Vitamin C’s I’ve tried and the dark orange color makes me paranoid about oxidation, but I kind of miss having it as an option. It’s more moisturizing than the other CE Ferulic serums I’ve used which is a pretty big plus for dry skin, especially during winter. Might repurchase. Still thinking about it.
LJH Tea Tree Mist Toner
Reviewed here. Purchased from HKCPlaza. This is a mildly astringent mist that didn’t quite soothe my skin the way I wanted. It took me forever to use this up and I actually ended up using this in my hair as a refresher. Will not repurchase.
Rucipello Tropical Ocean Mouthwash
I received this from 08L and I liked it, but who makes mouthwashes in 100ML sizes?! It took me maybe a week to finish this. Will not repurchase.
Keshimin Sealing Milk
Nivea Sun Protect Plus UV SPF 50 PA++++
Purchased from Amazon. This has been my #1 go-to sunscreen this winter. It’s a heavier sunscreen that is white-cast free (on my NC25-30 skin) and water and sweat resistant. If you’re the kind of person who just wants to stock up on one all-purpose sunscreen, this is a great option. I already bought 3 more tubes.
Canmake Mermaid Skin Gel UV SPF50+ PA++++
Full review here. Purchased via a forwarding service. Also available on eBay. I like this and have gone through a lot of bottles. It’s alcohol free, white-cast free, and works well under makeup. Will repurchase.
Aromatica Calendula Juicy Cream
Full review here. Purchased from Testerkorea. Also available on Peach & Lily (get $10 off your first P&L purchase with this link). This has been my favorite basic cream. It’s fragrance-free, gentle, extremely versatile, layers well, looks great under makeup, and now that I don’t have it, I miss it. Will repurchase.
CosRX Honey Ceramide Cream
The lovely PDXBeautiful sent this to me to try. It’s got a nice, smooth texture and is very easy to use. Might repurchase.
Have you guys tried any of these? What have you used up in January?
